Educational Experience: MBA, Graduation in Mass communication, Journalism, Political Science, Sociology or English Masters degree in Humanities/Social Sciences/Social Work from tier one college with impressive grades.

Rakshak Foundation is looking for a Coordination and Outreach Specialist. The concerned person will be responsible for driving all aspects of Rakshak Foundation’s youth outreach activities like Internship Programs, Campus Ambassador Program and also handle its volunteer base across the globe. He/ she will also be involved in handling communications within the civil society and the community to enhance the visibility of the organization and for it to achieve the desired results.
Roles and responsibilities
Coordinating & managing our Programs (Summer, In-Sem, Winter, Campus Ambassador):
• Contacting, coordinating and representing Rakshak to college placement committees
• Shortlisting CVs, conducting interviews for the selection of right talent.
• Representing the organization and contacting people to mentor our interns
• Monitoring, coordinating and tracking progress made by interns.
• Taking care of all the aspects of logistics both before and after the end of the program.
• Meeting with top officials with regards to deliverance of lectures, seminars, workshop etc.
• Handle all the logistics of organizing seminars, workshops, lectures throughout the year.
Outreach and social media presence
• Enhancing the Foundation’s visibility on social media platforms
• Managing all aspects ofFoundation’s other initiatives (GauravGatha, DeshRaagetc)
• Carrying out other tasks, as and when, required by the Foundation
Requirements & Qualifications
• Graduate in Journalism or Mass Communication (or English)
• Excellent academic record.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and Written): Both Hindi and English.
• Must be familiar with the use of social media platforms.
• Prior work experience in outreach and coordination desirable.
Candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
